Ya it really was. With everything that the farmers do it is technology. In Egypt, there was technology in farming because of all the advancements they had. What kind of advancements are you thinking? Well the advancements they had went from as easy as using the shaduf to making canals. There was so much technology used. They would also use irrigation canals to water the desert because most of Egypt was desert. The canals were dug up by the Egyptians. Canals and the shaduf are such great ways to use technology instead of taking the water all the way from the Nile just to use a little bit of water. So canals were a good thing. Also farming and cropping was another advancement that they had. I mean just making food is advancements? Ya it doesn't seem like cropping would be an advancement, but it really was!
